STUDI PERBANDINGAN KINERJA M-PSK DAN M-QAM PADA SISTEM OFDM DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KANAL AWGN

In today's world which started in the limit bandwidth usage, so there should be a way to cope. The existence of attractive properties of M-ary system, which saves bandwidth and power, making the reason of this writing.
In this thesis, analyzing the ratio of SER vs SNR with the tools calculated using the matlab. Comparison of M-ary system are discussed only compared with the same M value, 4QAM vs 4 PSK, 8-PSK vs 8-QAM, 16-PSK vs. 16-QAM, and
64-PSK vs. 64-QAM.
Among the family of M-ary PSK, QPSK (M = 4) offers the best trade-off between power and bandwidth requirements, the efficiency of bandwidth = 1 and Es / No = 10.3 dB. In AWGN channel, M-ary QAM has better performance than M-ary PSK for M> 4. Higher levels of M-ary, power reduction of 64-PSK to 64-QAM has the largest value is 9.55 dB, bandwidth efficiency of 3 bit / sec / Hz.
